History
Riding for the Disabled Association is simply about helping those people in our community, who face the challenges of having a disability, to enjoy a ride on a horse in a safe, caring environment.
Over the past twenty-seven years, this charitable service has given many hundreds of riders in and around the Bathurst area, a valuable learning experience, enhancing their confidence and self esteem.
The success of our program has seen a steady increase in riders, and so we are asking for your help.
Would you please consider any or all of the following:
- sparing a couple of hours of your time to help during our riding programs
(we also have plenty of non horse contact work available for volunteers); - sponsoring a rider with a disability for only $80 per annum;
- giving or loaning a horse to our riding program;
If you would like to help, please contact us.
