History

RDA Upper Hunter is situated on the grounds of St Helier’s Correctional Centre on the Sandy Creek Road six kilometres from Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Valley.

We operate during terms 2 & 3 from May through to end of September on a weekly basis on Thursdays from 9am until 1pm

Children from the special units of schools in the surrounding areas enjoy their riding days. We have one adult rider. We are supported by a very generous community with financial donations.

We have a 60 x 20metre arena plus several smaller arenas and a 3 bay shade and shelter shed and office.

We are always in need of volunteers to help out and to help care for our eight horses
